Welcome back! After lesson one's powerfully inspiring materials, this second lesson will begin to look at the ways in which we, as a collective consciousness on this planet, have chosen to explore separation and abandonment.

Consider the possibility that if we are all interconnected in a divine cosmic dance, when we shut out the shadow side, we are actually abandoning a part of ourselves. In order to be powerful generators of sacred love and catalysts for a new paradigm, we can be most effective when we understand the inner workings of the old paradigm and learn to dance with and transform the shadows both within ourselves and out in the world.

We will start this shadow dance with an exploration of the role of the media in influencing public perception and the collective consciousness. Some of you may already know or have suspected how corporate ownership of the media has tended to promote fear and sensationalism while neglecting some of the most important issues our planet is facing. Others may feel a bit overwhelmed after reading the revealing stories of these courageous, award-winning journalists.

For those who were not aware of media complicity in keeping certain key information from the public, please realize that many of us were shocked and disturbed when we first learned about some of these things. Yet we also know that everything happens for a purpose, and that there is a divine order to all that is unfolding, even though at times we may not know or understand it.

Many people on this planet would rather not know about the major manipulations happening in our world. Believing that it is better to focus only on the positive, they choose to avoid looking into the shadows. Yet would you ignore a friend who was about to harm someone or commit suicide?

As long as we collectively choose ignorance over awareness, these manipulations will continue. In fact, they will likely grow in magnitude until people are finally forced to open their eyes and deal with the consequences.

The sooner each of us decides that we do want to know of important matters that are being hidden, and that we are willing to invite others to open their eyes, the more easily we will be able to transform our world in a direction that supports the good of all who share this beautiful planet with us.

As members of the Transformation Team, we are choosing awareness. Each of us is choosing to play our unique role in helping to shift the collective consciousness of humanity through spreading acceptance, understanding, and love, even into the shadow places within ourselves and in the world. Through opening to all this and working to understand the reasons behind all of these shadows, we can more effectively invite transformation into our lives and world.

Though the people of this planet have largely chosen to forget how we are all interconnected in order to explore the dance of separation, ultimately we all want to come back together in an ever-expanding divine dance of interconnection.

By opening to acceptance and understanding of the deep manipulations played out in our collective explorations of separation, each of us can be an invitation to those around us to let go of the need for pain and suffering, and to join in the fun and joy of re-membering who we are both individually and collectively.

Though these lessons include information on the dark underbelly of some parts of life on our planet, our purpose is always one of transformation through love and empowerment. We have no doubt that this is a tremendous opportunity for us to make a real difference in our lives and world.
